Lace Toque

This was such a fun and challenging project! The research image was provided by the designer, Nadine Grant. I made the mock-up and pattern based on the image. I created the wire frame and used three different types of lace to create a see through effect on the crown. All of the wiring and stitching on the crown and band was by hand. I also made an adjustable head size for future use.
