I absolutely adore this hat! I had the wonderful opportunity to be the hat designer and milliner on this play set in 1896. I was able to create this hat from start to finish, including the patterning, fit, fabric covering, and decoration. I used a buckram frame and created an adjustable head size for future use. It is decorated with silver pheasant feathers, artificial flowers, and matching ribbon I created from extra lining fabric.
